The Frome Open Art Trail celebrates local artists and makers which takes place alongside the Frome Festival in July. We look forward to running the Trail this year as we cautiously return to visiting artists in venues in and around Frome.

Over the last few years the Frome Open Art Trail (formerly Frome Open Studios), has grown in strength and reputation attracting an increasing number of art lovers who enjoy meeting and buying directly from the artist.

The submissions for Frome Open Art Trail 2021 are now closed.

We plan to run the Art Trail in our homes and venues. This with anticipation that by the summer, present restrictions will have been lifted to allow this. However, we are aware that circumstances can change at short notice.

With the submissions now in we plan to publish the Art Trail Brochure in mid-May. The brochures will be distributed around Frome and locally.

Please remember that we may still need to Socially Distance, use hand-sanitizer and wear face-coverings when visiting homes and venues on the Art Trail.  Not everyone will have had either one or two of the Covid vaccines, and one vaccine does not make you or your visitors immune.

Still online to look through is the Interactive Brochure for July 2020 - https://www.frome-open-art-trail.co.uk  - which gives details of artists who took part in the Virtual Art Trail, with images, contact details and links to their work. To purchase work some artists have online shops, or you’re welcome to contact them directly by phone or email.
